Why Did You Become A Dentist?
Before his current career, Dr. Rattan was a biomedical engineer who had the pleasure of working closely with dentists who were fine-tuning the designs for dental implants. He found himself fascinated by their hard work and genuine passion for improving people’s lives through this state-of-the-art tooth replacement. He soon realized that he wanted to help others achieve these lifelong benefits too and started down a new path in life.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Rattan has both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Wright State University, as well as an MBA in Management. He chose to pursue his doctorate at the NYU College of Dentistry. In addition to traditional schooling, he has completed over 500 hours of training all around the world to earn valuable practical knowledge in the field of implantology.
Dr. Rattan has treated patients with thousands of implants & counting with various services in the field of implantology! He has more than 15 years of experience in this field.
Dr. Rattan is a current member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, & International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Rattan is married and has a daughter at home. When he isn’t busy at work, he spends lots of quality time with his family and also enjoys hiking, eating, learning, and traveling to explore up-and-coming technologies in the field of dentistry. He is additionally a seasoned U.S. Army Soldier/Dentist and recently joined 7305 MTSB (Medical Training Support Battalion), which gives him the valuable opportunity to work with soldiers with various backgrounds in the medical field.
